I beleive in the neccesity of government for large groups (such as countries), but I also beleive that such things should be monitered and controled to a very high degree.

In his book The Republic, Plato warned that a representative democracy such as ours would bog down in political red-tape, and further warned that the greatest enemy of the people is their own apathy.

I fully beleive that the American system of goernment works - but I just as strongly beleive that if we the people don't watch what it's doing, it will go from being a tool of the masses, to a controler of slaves.

I knew this was coming for a while.... only a matter of time before the government would try to do something like this. Worst part is that most Americans are either ignorant or don't want to deal with things anymore. Plato was right tho.... when its all said and done the people of a democracy will ultimately doom themselves because "Its not my problem, let someone else worry about it." If that bill passes it will mean the beginning of the end of the US and tear down the values people have fought for all these years to protect for this country.
