Basic DVD optical drives run $10-$20, high end. You can pick one up anywhere.

Save yourself a headache and get a DVD-rom drive. A lot of software is shipping on DVDs now, plus you can take in a movie while you work :)

Let me guess a mac still wont let you boot from USB? Has to be internal or firewire? I had an imac G5 that would not read DVDS. I used the DVD drive out of a Compaq laptop. Would not fit in the imac but fit the connector and held long enough to get OS5 on it.

I glad to hear that the new computer was arrived, which can only mean no more (Or just less) random crashing and files getting corrupted, does this mean Tyvara will have more time to work on her prompt thing? I have never really got into it, but it's cool what she's doing. Any hints on what pictures are on the way? Like one of the dancers/strippers performing or giving a lap dance. Some of the girls parting, since I find it odd that there are no parties going on at the island, or something else?

Man I am glad you did go to Fossil first b/c if Ty had told me to build you guys the computer and then you did that, I probably would have cried, then flown to Colorado, taken the PC back, and tried to save her with 7, but the damage would probably have been done.

try added Nvidia Tesla GPGPU's, that'll speed up rendering flash videos like up to 10x faster. but nvidia tesla costs like 1000-2000 bucks :S

I approve of all but the MAC. XD Win7 is actually better than any of the MAC OS systems that I've used; guess Microsoft finally got tired of pissing people off. Who'd ever have thought we'd see the day?? Look forward to seeing your new stuff with the new tech. >:D
