Sometimes its better to not say anything or KEEP IT PRIVATE. Don't shout it on her page, cause you just caused yourself a shitstorm.

I'd appologize to the artist, maybe take this journal down.. clean out your shouts from dipper and maybe ask her to do the same. You made a mistake big deal people make them, clean up the mess appologize and maybe people will leave you alone.

Swearing at people isn't going to make things better and telling people to F off really does make you look even worse imo. So you made a mistake and misread something it happends, truth is it happends to a lot of furs. A lot of people don't take the time to read things and sometimes ontop of that they misunderstand rules etc, yeah okay we get it you don't read everyones journals or everything. I can't fault you on that i'm known to nuke a few journals sometimes without reading them. But in so doing that and expecting something for nothing you may miss out entirely. If your signed up for a freebie thing the best thing to do is keep tabs on what the artist is doing or if your confused why you haven't gotten something in a bit, maybe tab over their journals and skim them to see whats going on first.

either way its not a big deal unless you make it a big deal. People are going to contiue to make it a big deal with this journal up though.. But hey its your choice how you clean up this mess. Either way I can see even being nice i'm probably going to get the same cut and pasted message as everyone else. Good luck.. hopefully you can straighten this mess out a bit on your own.

Silly to attack someone over a mistake, as long as they attempt to fix the mistake I kind of view it as a no harm no foul.. hope you learned something move on with life. *shrugs* But it takes a great deal for me to get truly pissy at people.

*nods* I try, I really do think you should probably take this journal down..though.. if you don't it may get leaked to a furry drama site and if it does. You've not seen trolling yet. I think the post dipper made down below is full of good advice. Please try to take it. I'd also suggest getting this down as soon as possible.

Mistakes happen, mistakes on the internet happen but if not cleaned up soon will live forever on a drama community somewhere.

*nods* I've read it, I read all of Dippers journals honestly. I like her art and her as a person as well. Hopefully they will try to fix the mistake but the journal is still here.. so I'm not sure. Either way it goes they know they did wrong its now how they clean up the mess that will be the solution.

Just trying to say, and not attack; If you took just a few moments to actually look through the artist's journals you would have realized the issue w/o things getting out of hand. Also shouts are NEVER a good way to contact an artist about ANYTHING.

They're going into a situation they don't understand and making a huge deal where there was none, and then when I try to explain myself they just ignore what I said and go on and on. I just don't understand why people need someone to hate.

Heheh, that's all I really wanted. Hell, I'd just be satisfied if you made "This is who I chose" journals. Much easier to list the people you chose than those you didn't.

Ohwowlol. I guess yeah when you get that many people, there's bound to be those who will b'aww at just about anything. I mean, over half of them couldn't tell that my comment on the Punk Journal was just my way of expressing disappointment that I didn't get in soon enough.

I understand you have had a crap week, well I have been there to, and from, and back again. I do not attack people because my week is bad, I am calm, collective, mature, and react in such ways.
These journals are only giving yourself a bad name and its only making you look like a horrible person which I know you are not.

The cursing thing is hard for me to remember, because I cuss like a sailor on a daily basis, even when I'm not mad or particularly emotional. >.>

No one can see your emotions. Everything you write online can be read differently. If you type something that is meant to be playful, it can be read by anyone ( most likely someone who doesn't know you) as something hurtful. Privacy is hard to find online, used closed systems like notes and emails to message someone about these things.
