Check out your city laws and see if you can turn right on a red, then if you got the law on your side take it to court. Most
of the time cities are quite willing to drop tickets like this and you might save some money on it.

You can turn right on a red here, she's in the same city. The only law is if there is a sign that states otherwise, you're fine. It probably just got her on the count that her sticker is outta date.

why would they tow it? last i heard, lack of registration was just a ticket, not a towable offense.

No i just gotta re-register it, which is usually only $50-$60. It had a sticker, it's just outa date. And they have the right to impound if it's outa date

Not to make things worse hun, but the tow and lot fees are not 100 bucks. Hell I wished they were. Your looking at an easy 300. I know cause that's how much i had to pay for mine.

You could see about returning the glasses as well and ordering off that site, not sure how easy that would be or if it'd be possible at all >.< But worth a shot if you can get the same thing for 1/10th the price.

Yeah, we're moving in a month only to find out Thomas can't renew his license because of a SIX HUNDRED PLUS DOLLAR TICKET he racked up from two and a half years ago apparently.

And it was a lousy speeding ticket. He thought it was in a 70 but it was still 55 in an area he wasn't familiar with. Honest mistake. The cop had pulled him over right in front of the 70 sign. Jerk.

Yeah.. THAT'S something we need right before moving when we're barely scraping by as it is. So his license is still expired.. until we pay that ticket in full.

SUCKS.
