This is so far from the right answer. People can't just fill their lives with things. No matter how "real" that doll is, it's still just a thing. No matter how many faces or parts it has, it can't talk or walk. More importantly it can't love. I think people forget how much talking actually is a part of love. Sometimes you just need someone to tell you when you're being a dildo, goodness knows I hear it a lot. XD

I can't figure out if this is just people being shallow or afraid. The man that said he felt like an outsider either wasn't trying, or he hadn't met the right group to be with. The doll isn't the answer.

As sad as their situation is, I completely understand what they're going through. It's really hard for some people to fit in and find someone else to share with, you're lucky you have Adare, she shares your interests and is basically in your same vibe.
I really empathize with those four guys, they all have their own stories of rejection and fears. It's very interesting to see how the human psyche always fights desperately to right a wrong, even by replacing an important part of your life with an image that very much resembles it.

It'd take me a few years to save up, but I'd totally do it. XD I'd put her on the chair that me and Adare never use. I'd put her there like she was watching TV, with the spare remote in her hand. I am really creeped the hell out watching this... Me and a coworker of mine were speaking of the show "My Strange Addiction" and he brought this stuff up, among other things. It would seem like all of they have jobs and hobbies, so it's not like they don't have anything to do, it's just that they just cannot find someone compatible. And it seems like they don't even try in this documentary because they have been trying for the last couple of years, to no avail. So why keep trying if you already found something that helps you cope with your failure to adjust?
