I have a rather shocking announcment to make.
I know that some of you might not beleive what I say, but I assure you that it is absolutely true and I mean every word.
I do not play World of Warcraft.
I speak the truth. I've never touched it - and I have no desire whatsoever to play it.
It seems like it can be a great deal of fun for those who like such things, but I'm not interested in the slightest.
I'm only making a deal of this because WoW itself has been made into such a big deal.
I don't have anything against the game or the players, but when it happened that I was verbally shunned by a group of people I was otherwise on good terms with because I didn't play it - that was rude.
I'm not really making a point with this journal. I'm not bashing WoW, or it's players.
I'm just stating my non-conformity by announcing my indifferance to an extremly popular game.

Ok, but really, it's pretty lame if people gave you crap for not being interested in WoW. To each his own, right?
I play it an average of about 1.5 months a year, lol. It really does get kinda boring after playing for a month... then it sits for a while. You're probably better off staying away from it in any event. There ARE much more productive things to do.
Oh! But you have to admit, tauren are kinda hot, no? ;)
And between all my FPS and RTS games, not to mention art and writing and everything, I really don't need another time-consuming addiction.

Of course the one reason i never played wow cause it was over advertised and talked about so much....and that revers psychology with me...it its big and flashy and everyone likes it changes are I will hate it.
And the game play and lay out just look...over done like the crammed so much into it seemed like what would happen if a 1500 piece puzzle was turned into a MMORPG game of rock-paper-scissors ....now those 1500 puzzle pieces became 1500 different objects in the game of rock-paper scissors XD thats how i feel about it. over complicated and over advertise.
Heh and then there are the constant WoW addict stories i've heard and even seen for myself that just made me glad that for once in my life i made the right decisions to not play it.
We should join forces and NOT talk about WoW as much as the WoW players talk about it.
Oh wait... that's impossible. Worth a shot, I suppose.

No dinosaur people? Me no interested!
If I'm gonna play a game for hours/days/weeks on end, I want a character that I enjoy looking at.
