Oi.
So, i go see the exhaust guy at the garage nearby (we've talked to him outside of work, he's good people)
the catalytic converter will only be $140 to put in
but-
i need the following parts:
O2 sensor (after cat.) $50
new spark plugs $12-15
new plug wires $30
new ignition coil $85
---
he will put all of these in for a cut rate of $60 (he's supposed to charge me $90+, but he's good people)
he's letting me shop around and get the parts as cheap as i can (within reason, he was only specific on my plug wires)
---
so, assuming these prices are correct~
the grand total to get my car feasibly running again: $377-380 (before tax)

it's going to be close,
but thanks to all of you guys (who bought commissions AND donated)
i think i can do it.
so, cross your fingers that i can find these parts for good prices.
