techno/rave...it's da shyte dear! When Pop music tried to transform into rap during the late 90's...I latched onto techno in it's various forms. In my book, SOME rap is ok, but A LOT of it just blows balls for me. I'll take Lady Gaga over TuPac anytime.

Outside of a few interesting songs, I've never liked ©rap. My actual tastes are folky, alternative, angsty, artsy stuff with a little rock thrown in...

I used to loathe techno though. I think what changed is that unlike other types of streams, techno streams don't play the same damn 20 songs over and over again. Also, the SL sims I used to hang at didn't play as an appealing stream as the one I'm currently plugged into.

It's also nice when I'm drawing or writing, because it screens out external sound without be especially intrusive itself.

I tend to listen to Digitally Imported and one of it's various offerings. They offer like 6 different streams. Other than that, I occasionally check out Tag's Trance. Once in a blue moon I might wander through the Shoutcast.com listings something different.

My folders of music include, hawaiian, celtic, techno, dance, 80's, rock, halloween, xmas, pirate, comedy, swing, anime, movies, and I even have a furry folder.
