Basically its a really awesome DS game by Cyberconnect3 with a bunch of floofy heroes. Its beautifully artistic, great music and full of charm and is great fun (if a wee bit easy). Likeable characters and everything, I haven't finished it yet but I'm loving it so far so I just wanna make sure as many people know about it as possible~ >3> I'm eternally sad that games like this and Okami never get the sales and recognition they should haff...
Its a spiriual sequel to an old game I haven't played called Tail Concerto, but a more mature and grown up game as far as I can tell~ even wif the loli kitis.
Spoiler free comments please from those people who have played it, its best enjoyed not knowing whats coming next, especially in the latter half of the game.
SO YEAH. 3DS has no games? Nothing to play on the go? DS isn't deeead yet~ Go buy Solatorobo and haff an injection of cuteness and furries and flying islands~ =w=
Plus, frankly, we need way more fanart of this series here than any more of the usual furry cliches~ =w=;

I didn't know. I just checked some time ago a specifications page about every "DS" (to see the difference between them and the 3DS too) and I found that the DSi and DSi XL were region locked, just like the 3DS.
But as you said, maybe it's the games that are region free (for some of them :P).
I don't know, really, but all that counts, for now and for once, is that we can play Solatorobo before US

In fact, it was the french version for the DS page of Wikipedia that I was using but checking the english one (for curiosity), it totally confirms what you just said :)

Sure it is a great game even if I didn't play it as far as you seem to have done.
I did play Tail Concerto (and I still have the game with me :D) and as a little cameo you can see some of the stuffs there was in that game for PlayStation in that one for DS (no spoiler so I won't say what but I'm absolutely sure you met some of them already).
Just a little question though, are the characters speaking a little during the talking phase ? And if yes, what's the language they're using ? (just being curious :P)

I kinda knew it was the case in japanese as there's a very strong japanese accent in anything they say (still good french in the end) but I was just curious if it was also like this for everyone :P
I do play it as much as I'm able to ^^;
But if you met Waffle already (as I said you're far before me), you also met the little thief-kitties (who are the ones you have to "fight" against in Tail Concerto, mainly).
