I liked the new Thundercats. A lot.
Better than the original? Hard to say, since there's only been one episode. And is it really just a remake? Not so far. It's more like a new story that just happens to have the same title characters. In that sense, can you really compare them? Probably :P
Thundara, instead of being its own planet, is now a city on 3rd Earth.
Advanced technology, instead of being a universal truth, is an ancient myth.
Mum-ra, the ever-living, is now the Thundercat's oldest enemy.
Tigra is Liono's older brother.
Cheetarah is a priestess.
WilyKit and WilyKat are street urchins.
Panthro is a war hero (and looks a lot like Jet from Cowboy Bebop X3).
They all used to be heads of noble houses :P
