I messed up once while I was inking something, my pen slipped and I ruined the whole peice. I felt like crying after that :(

NO. Your awesome uniqueness it partly due to because it's traditional, it is like a dying art around here sooo! Dont evar 100% switch to digital please.

i know, i get the same ;A; and i usually don't post traditional anymore...

an my mom's scanner makes every thing look bad too >·< but it's what I gotta deal with for now :/

I don't think that's any reason to just ditch Traditional. I think you should take traditional and digital hand in hand.

I think what catches most peoples attention is full coloured pieces and the image content (DEM RED BORDERS, but we're not going down that road).
You should try and make custom icons for your submissions. So for example make your icon the persons face in the image.
When you have close up previews I personally find that more eye grabbing and it helps to eliminate the white space in your icon.

ya the red borders often get me more views than anything else :/
it might be the same if I tried to do something with a background too cuz I don't realy have any of that fancy media such as prisma markers and all that. :( all I really have is crayola colored pencils athat get used up too fast. I don't wanna keep havin' to by colored pencils all the time. (>.=.<) I tried painting and stuff but it aways ends up in a mess.
and yes you're right I should try to put close up pics on my thumbnails. thanks for your help! :3

traditional art makes my hands hurt and they get dirty from all the things I use :(

and i still love it even if its dirty it will wash off
