Alpha just shows how unimpressive this game actually is. Feels like a mix between the new Medal of Honor and Battlefield 2, only not as good as either of those games.

The game doesn't need to be beautiful graphically for me to enjoy it. But the fact of the matter is the game is pretty aesthetically pleasing and I find that to be a plus. And as long as it has the core Battlefield feeling and mechanics to it then that's all I really care for. From what I've seen it does and for that I'm happy with it.

I was actually talking about the game play aspect of it, not the graphics. The graphics are just like all other modern shooters. Grey, dusty, with a dash of over-bloom.

The palette is far more colorful than BFBC2 and BO by a long shot. Then again, I really don't care. If it seems fun to me then that makes it justification enough for me to buy it and enjoy it, regardless of hearing "if it's truly a competent successor to BF2".
