Episode 7: possibly one of the most heart-wrenching episodes yet. We all had to say a tear-jerking goodbye to Cameron.
I've said from the beginning that he has amazing talent, yet I didn't think he was right for the show. He realized it himself, and extricated himself before anybody else could be pushed away. I think the moment I lost it was when Damien said it himself, "[Cameron] has basically given me his shot."
I'm sure most of us are fans of Damien as well, and are simultaneously shocked and very glad he's dodged a bullet, but it won't take away the surprise of losing a rockstar.
Cameron has beliefs, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is very admirable to stick by those beliefs. However, when you are an actor, you have to push them aside. I don't mean abandoning them, I just mean becoming somebody else, and when all the fun and pretend is over, you go back to the respectable you. Either way, it was too much for him.
On a lighter note, Samuel is still passing with flying colors, and has by far the best record yet. He's not even been in the bottom three, and he has yet to receive criticism on his performances. He keeps looking better and better.
Alex has grown a bit more detached from everything, every week he's either been pompous or just lost. Though, I will admit his last chance performance ("I Will Survive") was breath-taking.
Lindsay, seriously, go home girl. I'm happy that she's beginning to struggle, because her attitude towards other people is just poor.
Hannah, you sweet adorable ball of happiness, good for you. I'm sticking by my beliefs that she's not the best candidate for a new cast member on Glee, but it's really hard to dislike her. She seems to be an amazing actress, even if not the best singer, and her demeanor seems to cheer me up each time she's on-screen.
Damien, we love you so. You're sexy, you're Irish, and above all else, you're a sweetheart. Stick it out, just a little longer!

I have a huge feeling that Samuel is gonna win this. I still want Damian to win, but Samuel... is just what they want.
I also want to know, what's your opinion of Ryan Murphy? My friends and I are not big fans of him now. He just comes off as very pompous and has a "holier-than-thou" attitude. I know he's the creator, but he's not a god. Maybe if he'd been more involved with this, rather than only seeing them in the bottom 3, he'd be a little better.
I've also thought the same that he needs to be more involved with this show. He already made the mistake of getting rid of Marissa, and apologized for that, because he only comes in at the end of the week and judges them on a single performance.
He needs to get back to before Glee, when all he had was Nip/Tuck, and maybe the show will start excelling again.
Truthfully, they would all work in a story-line if the 12 were together. Meaning, I think it would be fun to see the first Glee movie (not the concert) revolve around the appearance of a new glee club that seems like McKinley, filled with outcasts, and the coach seems like Will. But somewhere down the line, you find out he's using the kids, thinking Schuester discovered the formula for winning, and that's "pretending" to believe in misfits with talent.
At least they are only doing ONE tribute episode this time, in the form of a 2-hour TV movie
