I DANCED. I competed and performed. The big part, I didn't suck! From the feedback I could gather, there were quite tight groupings for placings, and I ended up around 6th/7th out of 13.
To be totally honest, once on stage I had the usual loss of remembering what I could do. I at least remembered a few little choreography/lyrics movements to go along with the song.
I'm really hoping to get up to snuff enough to make it through the preliminaries at FWA next year. Given the talent in the fandom now, placing isn't even on the radar for me yet. Just being able to perform alongside some of the better dancers will be enough for me.
