What's the best way...

...to try to find out if someone you know is a furry? I mean, obviously asking them directly would probably be the quickest way, but maybe not the easiest or best.
I have a friend at work who is a self-described "animal lover", and she has commented on some of the pictures I have on my desktop wallpaper (specifically, this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6088027/ and this one: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6149511/). We've talked about our mutual affection for animals as a general idea, but I don't necessarily want to straight-out ask her if she is one. I don't have a problem with people at work knowing that I'm a furry (I've told someone before when it came up, though that person ended up leaving the company a few weeks later), but I don't want to just bring it up out of the blue.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Using keywords that are esoteric, but that can be slipped into normal conversation work well. Just be nonchalant when you say them in passing. That will work.
please use that one
