Where have I been?

Busting my tail and now I've finally reached full-time status!!!! Im now running the constant 2 on and 4 off. That along with my second fire job in between.
the cool thing is I assisted in the testing process for our new hires.... let me tell you... it feels so good to be on this side of the testing process LOL.
So, my next goal is to work my way up to the next rank of Engineer ( Im already certified to operate the ladder truck ) Just a waiting game for a while and then another test for that. With any luck and a fist full of years, I may be captain. but thats just being very optimistic.
So! what about you guys!? I've just noticed all your shouts about your progress! Thats awesome! Keep it up brothers.
PS..... my chief wouldn't allow the purchase of a leather helmet! GRRRRR! lol. I'll have to wait till he retires then weasel one in haha.
PSS: I've also updated some things in the page profile. You've got some more links to help out with fire jobs... also the members list is updated... but somehow the last line of names wont show the icons... for me anyways.

You'll be pleased to know that I've settled on EMT as my career choice.
Not having fun at all. Its extremely stressful to me and they are going to get someone killed very soon. I hate to say it but its true..

all of our older officers were in the "back in my day" phase.
they didnt want to provide or do anything that involved new safty practices or comply with the most basic stuff that has changed in the past 5-6 years.. long story short a bunch of them retired and left the rest of us scrambling to get things shaped up.. im still having trouble getting what I need but its better than it used to be. I at least got all our paperwork cought up for the past year...now my next mission is about 6 new people to train 0_o
