Ah, finally. Some progress. I have the plans for the suit scoped out (modular pieces joining at the armor and belts) which should prove -very- handy in case a piece of it gets torn or inked on or something. Annoying to replace, but replacing just a shoulder is a much better scenerio than replacing the whole upper body or whatever.

On a related note, I've begun the actual physical work of sewing. I am winging it, ameteurishly (if that is a word) I have the left forearm done (from the arm armor to the wrist, the hand will be sewed laters..it's a bit harder to wing) It actually came out really well. It holds its tightness like I wanted, but shows the seams. It's not to bad for the arm (in fact..it's almost expected) but I am worried about it looking really weird when it comes to the crotch and leg areas. Oh, why couldn't Flamedramon have worn a belt. Oh well.

Oh, and due to the pointy nature of the pointy armor, I can't be -too- accurate. I wouldn't want to be thrown out of a convention for possessing the ability to run people through with my claws. The hands are going to break my 'skin stops at armor' rule, because there are many things I may wish to use my fingers for.
