Just an update that my surgery is finally taking place Monday morning on 8/8, at 9 am, Pacific Time. Per Kaiser, they have unsuccessfully been trying to treat me with drugs since last year, and the pain has gotten so bad and the problem so much worse they finally approved me for surgery. I was originally scheduled to have it at the end of August but the last couple of weeks have been so excruciating ( I'm talking, wake-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-screaming excruciating ) that I managed to get it moved up to earlier.

I've had various major surgeries all my life ( my body is a walking tower of epic fail ) but I'm really nervous about this one as it's on my drawing arm and one of the nerves ( ulnar ) has already been damaged and has left me with little use and zero feeling of the last two fingers of my drawing hand.

Anyway, art has been painfully slow due to all this ( as you can see from my lack of uploads ) and I'm hoping I come out of this the better for it, and can get back in the swing of things shortly after.
