Live in BC. Its the best here. Preferably in the Okanagan Valley. Milder weather, and lots of furs.

In Montreal you pritty much HAVE to be bilingual and speak Quebecwa (its not true french, its their own bastardized version of it.) If you don't your pritty much fucked. Edmonton is alright, but it gets bitterly cold in the winter (so does Montreal, just not as bad). Here in the Okanagan, were in a glacial valley and get shielded from a lot of the harsher weather, the most snow Ive seen here in Penticton is about four inches, and that was unusual. The Penticton housing is a bit pricy, but just outside of Pen, in like Oliver, Ok Falls, or Summerland, the housing is great, and is all within driving distance to the major citys. Vancouver is a bit of a drive, but Kalowna is only about 40mins to an hour away if you avoid bridge traffic. Here in Pen I can think off of the top of my head of six furrs, with seven others nearby, and we get about twenty five of us together at the end of summer for the local FurBQ minicon we have.

Ahh nice, if everything goes well I plan to move there sometime soon.

Montreal is extremely crowded, it's one of Canada's biggest cities. Second biggest, if I'm not mistaken, next to Toronto. Be prepared to learn French, and don't turn right on red lights.

Edmonton is gets bitterly cold in the winter, and be mindful of the rent. It's skyrocketing.

edmonton blows, but there's not much point in being in mtl unless you can speak french. toronto or vancouver are nice.

As much as I enjoy living in Ontario I am not a big fan of Toronto. With every large city, it is very congested not to mention expensive. It does have a good transit system so many of the furries that live there don't have cars. Living on the outskirts of Toronto would be cheaper but you would need to comute to the city to find decent work so that can get expensive also.

So Ontario could be a better choice? n.n

Toronto is in Ontario. I live 45 minutes East of Toronto. It's cheaper out here but not many jobe. Most people have to comute into the city to find decent work.

For you then, Toronto might be a good place since the transit system is very good. many firries live there. When they come to visit me, I usually pick them up at the GO train station near me then bring them back at the end of the weekend. Like I said the cost of living in Toronto is expensive but if you are sharing expenses, It may not be that bad.

I'm from Ontario too, so yes, move to BC.

Come move to Alberta! It's the only regional division in North America that doesn't have a debt and pulls a surplus every month... no PST tax (-6% of all purchase taxes experienced in other provinces). Jobs aplenty, everyone needs people so finding a job ain't hard. :3 And the chance of any natural disaster occurring is amongst the lowest in the entire world. x3!

you should move to somewhere outside of toronto, because the city itself is very expensive and hectic to live in because of the millions of people living there.

I live about an hour away from toronto, and it's a much better situation because we can go there whenever we want. trust me, if you're thinking of moving to toronto, you're much better off staying in a city near toronto, and then just driving there.

Everybody says the same about the cold in Edmonton x.x;

I'm curious about how many of them LIVE or lived in Edmonton. Like I said I hate the cold and I moved from Halifax, so I'm use to milder winter temperatures. I find it better here then back east in the winter tho, because its much dryer here you don't get the same deep chill, just need to dress for the cold :3
