Going on past form, it'll be deep into 2012 until it arrives here in England. (The original Thundercats started in 1985, but it wasn't until Christmas 1986 that they started showing it!) And as a big fan of the original series (I've got the whole lot on DVD), I really wanted to see what the new show was like!

I have managed to download some large files in the past (1.1GB in about 50 minutes), but that only works on Sunday mornings; and with my HDD crammed with art and music writing software, I can't really stuff that much more on it!

(I can imagine a certain "wafer thin mint" scene playing out if I do...)

And I caught the original Thundercats series whenever I had the opportunity to. When I first started watching it, Cheetara wasn't actually my favourite character - but that soon changed. (I'm not saying who was my favourite character at first, though!!) And from what I've seen of the new series, I like Cheetara's new design, too!

(More than the old design, though? Hmmm... I guess the jury's out until I see some episodes for real!)

As for certain poses in animation: I grew up watching Science Ninja Team Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets. And I was a fan of a certain section of the episode start sequence. I wonder which one that was...

Cat plushes? I think I've got the same problem with fox plushes...

And the character in Battle of the Planets was called Princess (or Jun the Swan in the original Science Ninja Team Gatchaman). You're right, her uniform itself was indeed mostly white, over a pinkish "minidress". And following anime tradition, another part of her outfit (shown quite regularly) was also white...

I only mentioned the US because *every* site I've checked seems to imply it's only shown there. But if you can get it in Canada, then that's great!

And yep, I know they've only shown the first few episodes so far. But since I'm after as many episodes as possible, and there's still a long way to go in the season, I thought it would be a good idea to mention what I'm after early on!

It's true, they've only shown the first 3 episodes so far. But I thought I'd best mention I was after them now, before they air the whole lot of them!

I think only episodes have aired but I can get all three using PirateBay. Personally I would wait till the whole season is out and then burn it to a DVD but I am an efficiency fiend.

That would make a lot of sense, to be honest - after all, why burn them onto more discs than is absolutely necessary?

And it would be really great if you could do this for me!

I got the first three episodes downloaded and I will get them as they become available and then when the season is over, send you a disc of all of them.

I wonder how many episodes there will be.

Are you looking for the new series or THE ORIGNAL series because I have the Orignal series.. EVERY one in full format on dvd full uncut unedited ..

I'm actually looking for the new (2011) series. I was a fan of the original series from its 1986 debut here in England, and I took the first opportunity to get the whole lot on DVD - even the episodes that weren't shown over here.

But from what I've seen, the new show looks pretty good. I'd just like to see it properly for myself!

There is a good chance that after the first 13 episodes air here it will be presented as a dvd format,, I feel it s being made overseas and is being english dubbed.. more like animae thats from ad vision, (sony) I have not seen the first 2011 showing yet but I will have to clean out the tivo to get it to record it. (When it behaves) [its a piece of S$%t really].

It's very much like the original Thundercats show in one respect - it's a USA/Japanese hybrid, with much (if not all) of the animation being done in Japan.

(The original show was animated by the Pacific Animation Studio, if I remember correctly...)

They will almost certainly release it on DVD after the season has finished - and I've got a DVD player encoded to play any region, so that in itself is not a problem. It's just a matter of when...
