We're still hammering out the details, but basically

aleric_the_red_panda and I would like to attempt to get our own room and share it with (at least?) 2 other people this year.
raymondfrostwolf, I know you expressed interest in going, then decided not to go, then idk. The point is I'm confused. Are you interested in going?

For that hotel, the rooms are about $95 per night. (Rounded up to $100 for simplicity's sake)

The con starts the morning of October 14th, and ends the night of October 16th.
I was thinking of booking the nights of Oct 13th, 14th, & 15th. we could get there the night before the con, then two days later we could leave on the night of the 16th so we don't have to pay for another night if we're just going to leave in the morning.
Still brainstorming lol.
I've never been to a furry con before, so sadly I have no idea how much stuff costs. D:

If it's just the four, I'll be bringing $130. I've been to a convention before and it's similar. Food I would suggest bringing your own unless the prices at the chosen hotel are affordable. I'm definitely bringing my laptop if the place has WiFi.
Also, I would get a room with 1 bed or 2 beds, that way we can save a lot more and a couple other people can bring sleeping bags. Unless the bed is big enough for all of us to fit in lmao.
I've had a couple other people expressing interest in going too, so altogether that's:
The hotel I'd like to book (It's called the Super 8 Of Cromwell) has rooms with these rates:
1 Queen bed: $59.29 (1-2 people)
2 Queen beds: $68.29 (1-4 people)
3 Queen suite: $95.29 (3-6 people)
It also comes with this stuff:
Free continental breakfast
Free high speed internet
Pets allowed
Bus/truck parking
Free parking
We could definitely get one of the rooms with 1 queen bed and save $36 a night!
I think we might be able to get the 3 queens :o
I'll double check though before we decide x3
So with a total of 7 people, if we get the 3 queens (rounded $100) It'll be $15 a night per person. Total $30 for the passes...
Everyone should bring $75, but I'd bring at least $100 for extra stuff just in case.

Though, :pjt: and I were talking, and he suggested that we get an extra night so I don't have to drive 3+ hours bringing everybody home after midnight when I'm already tired from a full day of con-going.
