VIRGIN MEDIA - I THANK YOU!
Well after about 3 months, my home internet connection has FINALLY been restored and 'touch wood' it's working better than ever. Thank you Virgin Media for fixing a problem with our telephone line within five days, a problem i always knew was there, a problem that i have been trying to convince AOL about since JANUARY when our connection started getting slower and slower until it went off completely by the end of May.
Seriously though, if you're in the UK i couldn't recommend Virgin Media enough for internet right now. AOL have been no help whatsoever over the past 8 months and i got sick of phoning them with different problems. They even had the cheek to suggest that we should stop calling them and instead get in touch with the companies that manufacture both my PC and my mom's laptop! It just didn't matter how many times (and i'm no expert) i tried to explain AOL that maybe they should test our phone line, they just were not interested.
Well congratulations AOL on successfully completing the "How to Alienate and Lose your Customers" module. Goodbye and good riddance.
RIOTS IN THE UK
Pointless, ridiculous and stupid, but i wouldn't expect anything less of the people of this country - and yes i said that (i can coz i'm British). Because Birmingham decided to copy London as an excuse to steal a few HDTVs from Maplins i decided not to travel there tonight like i normally do. I was on the street that got the most damage the night before it all kicked off and couldn't believe what i was seeing on the news last night.
It'll probably all kick off again tonight, so i'm not taking any chances travelling through Birmingham City Centre, thank you very much. I'd just like to personally thank all the pea-brained thugs for helping me get half a day off work tomorrow. :)
In all seriousness i hope nobody gets hurt.
AND FINALLY...
The situation with my Dad is getting increasingly desperate. I'll talk about that another time though. Also forget anything i've mentioned before about me working on various projects. I'll probably still carry on that Sonic Comic i've started at some point, but anythig else, meh. I just don't have the time right now to commit to anything.
Basically, from now on i'm just going to draw when i feel like it and make music when i feel like it. Random and free is best for me (IT RHYMES!).
Time for me to speed, keeds!
RDanno.
