i heard a sarge saying this and some people they might now the true meaning. but it is up to the person to find out on there own.

to me it sounds like that the Sarge was saying would you rather go home to your life of normalcy or would you rather be a marine a do something while kicking ass at the same time

The sarge is right. it seems to me sarges have more wisdom to share than higher rank personel

that is for sure cause they been in the shit longer then most officers. which was what i was going to be a sarge. most people try telling me that are lower rank that u can not but if you get it from writing from a recruiter then you know he aint bull shitting either.
