i have been watching this show on netflix called 30 Days and i am currently watching the animal rights episode. now im not against it not at all but the way PETA portals alot of things i dotn completely agree with it. but getting to the whole subject of the journal they showed an actual animal shelter the euthanizes unwanted animals. now i myself and a sucker for a pit bull, i love them but i will honestly say i cried that is something i never wanna see happen to a pit. they had taken one to her death. took her from her kennel, to the room where they do the act, showed the syringe they would use and said how its done the only thing they didnt show was them injecting the poor animal. but what really got me was after they showed the syringe and the drug they use they opened the door of the cell looking thing that had a drain in the middle of the floor all metal walls and in the back corner was a orange trash bag with a noticeable big object in it....i cried that is something i never wanna see again never. im so glad we have a no kill shelter here or as far as i know any where around where i live. all because of the fact that some vet was sued and thrown in jail because of the whole euthanizes process that he was practicing. horrid but i never wanna see a dog put to sleep because someone wanted them when they were oh so cute but not when they get older thats just people not being responsible!!!!! ok i guess this is end of kinda a rant in some way. lol what are your thoughts and such on how animal rights is portrayed?
