OK, here goes another con report wall of text thing.

Besides the fact that I'm piss tired at the moment, CFT was fuckin amazing.

The good
-Met lots of new peeps
-got to see old peeps
-got to hang out with good friends from the bay
-kept myself busy...very busy
-Oregon peeps are fuckin awesome
-and much more

The bad
-god damned dust EVERYWHERE!
-got doppler pretty dirty
-mosquitos
-10 hour drive
-lots of prep and cleanup time
-truck got crap mileage hauling everything
-some other small things that don't really matter

So, to begin. Prep was sorta insane. Had way too much gear and a tiny truck to cram it into. Also built a generator a few days prior to the con which suffered vapor lock a few times. That was in part due to me running it in the hot sun and in part due to a design flaw where my muffler was pointing at my gas tank heating it up. that's all fixed now though. Met up with arbitrary plaid who is fuckin awesome btw and we hit the road about an hour later than what we wanted but that was bound to happen anyways since we are a big group of furries. 10 hour drive wasn't bad save for some traffic. Stopped off in weed for pizza and hit the weed store. Arrived at CFT a tad later, set up camp (including a Cali flag), met people, ate dinner, then did the standard camping activities that everyone does around a campfire. Caught oCeLoT and gang on their way in and helped them set up camp that night too.

Awoke the next morning after just 5 hours of sleep freezing my ass off since I heard Tyco and Bweep's voices and helped them get their camp set up. Then I caught a few more hours of sleep, this time in fursuit so I was warmer :P Hit breakfast then ended up spending most the day hosting my first 2 happenings, which went pretty well cept the fact that i had very little time beyond that. took a quick trip to the river to bathe though no time for waterfall. then dinner and the usual nighttime shenanigans as well as the awkward dance party where I got to use my generator setup and tyco set up his OMFG bright ass lights.

Third day, the usual, awesome food, only one happening this time, got to finally hit the waterfall. Hit up campfire cooking where coda taught us how to cook the best bacon and eggs ever, over a camp fire, in a paper bag :P Later that night, decided to ditch the party and got really plastered and hosted a game of cards against humanity, which turned out to be lots of epicness and hilarity. Then I got in doppler and fell asleep in front of the fire, completely drunk still :P

Last day, same stuff, though I had no happenings and decided to enjoy the day as much as possible. Spend a large portion of the day at the waterfall after the epic water battle. had our last dinner, then did campfire stuff and stargazing.

Monday morning, started packing out, did breakfast, got a huge thank you from the staff for my help, won an award for best crafting happening for tail making, then finished packing out, said my goodbyes, and hit the road with the gang, this time with Sparky along for the convoy too.

All in all, best camping trip I've ever done, funnest road trip I've ever done, awesome con! That is all.
