Long Belated Journal
I wasn't planning on posting a journal today, but it's been three-months since my last so perhaps some kitten updates are in order:
- I got my scanner fixed, but probably won't have any piccies to post for a while (some doodle sheets maybe).
- I've really bitten off more than I can chew with a (barely) paid writing project and will be very busy for the next two weeks.
- I've barely dented my Birthday Story this year so I doubt it will be ready for October 29 as I'd planned. On a related note, I was a very shy little boy and tended to avoid parties if any of you can think of activities for the story's itinerary I'd be most appreciative.
Well that's about it for this update, but I'll try and post a new one soon. Now everybody line up for hugs!!! *hugs*

Nice to have a kitty-update! And I'd really love to see some doodle sheets, they're always such fun! As for party activities, how about pass the parcel and musical chairs and lots of cake and playing with balloons? ^.^
Re: Squeee! *Huggy wuggles* ^.^
No worries if you can't get the Birthday Story done on time. Kazootles! I've meant to have Creative Campaign 2 done for ages, but just can't find the time to sit down and plug at a chapter. Well, I do get time. However, as I'm sure you'll agree, the "mood" just isn't right. Don't worry, though, it'll get done eventually and the fact you are dedicated is what counts.
As for events for the occassion, you could always have a fun Scavanger Hunt. In it, Kaffre can get like a note and, as he goes, finds presents and/or friends until, at the end, he winds up back home for cake and ice cream. :)
All my best, Kaffre! May your days be gaboo!
Writing does seem more creatively draining then drawing, I think that's because (for me, at least) it's more of an extended effort an I've always been more of a sprinter at heart...
A scavenger hunt is rather long for the purposes of this story, but I will definitely file the idea away for a future story! I'm glad you're looking forward to reading it though!
At any rate, I'm glad you
As for the birthday activities, for the ones I've been to, Zee-Zee and Yosh have already said most of the things I've done. There's also board games, or games like Twister, but that might not work quite as well for such young cubs...
Thanks for the suggestions, they are a bit grown up, but maybe a really simple game might be integrated (chutes & ladders etc).
Incidentally, I'd like to clarify I don't necessarily mean JUST games. Listing anything that might go on at a child's part would be appropriate...
