My dumbo rat, Scabbers, passed away earlier tonight.


He was sick and I was treating him, but he didn't make it. He was probably older than we thought he was and a little inbred (he came from questionable circumstances in a haunted house that used rats and kept boys with girls).

He never did like being held or touched, but he loved treats and was the derpiest rat I've ever known.

I found him at the bottom of the cage with Splinter at his side. Splinter had probably stayed there during Scabbers' last moments. I named that rat well.

I'll miss you, Scabbers, even though you wished to bite my finger off every time I let you sniff it.
