My week of Craziness - beginning 08-09-11

Let's see here. I went in to have a general checkup as well as a blood test of my muscle enzyme levels as a few months back, the doctor said they were a bit high. I had fasted for it, only to find out later, that I didn't need to fast for it. After that, the doctor gave me a referal to a neurologist to see if maybe they can help with aspects of my body desensitivity, as well as neck issues I am having.The body desensitivity is where the sensation of touch goes almost completely unnoticed. I at times do feel things, but nowhere in the levels of what would be seen as normal. Think of you had a rather thick coat on and someone tried to gently rub your arm. Maybe you'd feel a tiny sensation, but nothing too much from it.
I have had this ugly wart like thing on the tip of my nose for a year or two. Needless to say, we go to where we thought we were supposed to go, only to have them tell us to go somewhere else. We get there, and they say I am supposed to be back at the place I was just at. Needless to say, after a bit, they said they could remove it later today. So, I go home, my dad takes me to Best Buy and gets for me a 3TB USB Hard Drive to replace the other that crapped out on me, which was a 2TB + enclosure. He said he'd buy it for me, as he asked me how I was doing money wise and etc. Was really awesome of him to do.
After that, I lazed about at parents house for an hour or so until we had to go & get the thing removed.
The needle to inject the numbing agent into that wart thing hurt a hell of a lot more then the needle in the arm for blood. It was like the pain shot right up into my right eye. >_< Needless to say, they cut it off and then cauterized it closed (Due to it having something to do with a blood vessel and it would have bleed a lot).Needless to say, for a couple days, it was like a black dot on my nose. Today (as in Friday 08-12-11), it seems the scab fell off. Still going to keep putting that ointment on it. But bandaids don't seem to stay on at all there.
I made a mistake of trying to breathe through my nose after it had been done. Dear god, the horrible stink of the burnt flesh. Let's just say it's not to appealing. At least the doctor doing this was a pretty neat lady. You could tell she enjoyed her job, cracking jokes and whatnot. ^_^
Now, here I am, back home. I have some bandages, some ointment and a couple other things. Trying to relax with my freaking paining neck that at times causes my vision to go blurry. At least tommorow at work is technically a half day with a baseball game with all you can eat food and all the soda I can drink for lunch tommorow.
Wednesday 08-10-11
Work went well, for the tiny bit that was actual work. The baseball game was okay. The free food was pretty good though. Throughout the time of the game, I managed to down 5 Dodger Dogs, somewhere between 2-4 nachos, 1 bag of peanuts and at least 2 small cups of soda. It was fun watching the others in the crowd get excited when something happened. It was more fun "People watching" and seeing others enjoy themselves then the game itself.
Went home and did my best to relax.
I also got a call from my doctors office on the Muscle Enzyme Level test. It seems the cutoff of a normal range is something to around 200 or so. My Levels were in the 1000's. He is giving me a referal to a Rheumatologist to get that checked out. Who knows, maybe this could have something to do with my neck as well as my bad joints and muscle issues.
I talked to a friend of mine who I call my "Science Friend" about all that seems to be going on. (You know who you are. ^_~) He informed me that when I go to the Rheumetologist, to inform him about the aspects of how my body is extremely resistant to cold yet weak against the heat, as it could be something Thyroid related. He also mentioned to have the doctor test for either Graves Disease, or to see if for some reason, my Immune system is attacking my muscles. He said it is possible that could be why my body is having all these issues, as well as the whole, feeling weak despite being at the job for over a month and my body still being so fatigued and whatnot.
I also got the device I needed to connect my old "dead" 2TB hard drive to my laptop so I can see about recovering the data I had on it.
Friday 08-12-11
Went to work, work was the same as usual. For lunch, we went to Hometown Buffet near my Parents and my place on Rosemead blvd. For all of you who know me and know how much I can eat, it should be no surprise that I was able to eat 4.5 to 5 plates of food, as well as 1 plate with desert type things on it. It is unfortunate we only had an hour, which meant I had to eat fast. Otherwise I may have been able to eat slower and either, eat less, or eat more. ^_^;
Needless to say, for someone like me who when hungry can eat a lot, around $10 is a great deal to be stuffed full of food. :D
Finished work, mom picked me up from work. Went home, checked progress on the scan of old hard drive. Tried taking a nap, seemed to work only partially. Woke up around 9pm or so. Scanning of data was done and it looks I'll be able to get just about all my data back except a few files which have no real meaning to me anyways.
The act of restoring all the data to the new hard drive will be around 80 Hours or so. But, at least I won't have to download a bunch of stuff all over again. So I am happy about that. ^_^ It is just the waiting part that can be rather annoying. But, they say good things come to those who wait.
Tommorow, I will have to go and get more blood sucked out of me so the Rheumatologist can see it and whatnot. Though that appointment isn't until around the 23rd or so. But whatever, at least it will be done.
No clue for what if any plans I have this weekend really. ^_^;
Anywho, take care everyone. I hope your lives as well as the lives of loved ones, friends, and family are all well. And for those who may be feeling sad or upset due to whatever reason may be causing them to feel down, please do your best to not take things so seriously. Dwelling on things of the past, may prevent one from moving on with their lives. It may be hard to do, but if you can, try talking to someone about your feelings. You'd be surprised at how letting all that out can help.
That is all for now, so take care everyone ok?
