SO! I finally forced my self to watch an episode of MLP

After hearing what a life changing experience it was to watch MLP from a variety of .. bronies is it?, I decided to finally watch an episode and see what all the fuss is about.
To my surprise, it was nothing like the original MLP show i remember watching as a young child, the characters were cleverly made this time around, and the plot, though not amazing (not in what ive watched anyways), wasnt horrible.
It is a show designed to appeal to a younger audience, and it shows through the wording and actions of the characters.
As i noticed this, its what ultimately made me question what the show has that brings out the interest of alot of peoples inner man-child.
Its a well made show, but it is a kids show, and that fact weighs heavily down on the level of interest. Its kind of like how i still like pokemon so much, but cant stomach the show because of that fact that its based to appeal to a younger audience, and not just that fact its self, but the actual impact is has on the show.
So yeah, i watched it, i ended up a little surprised, but it just begs me to ask the question again-
What is it about the show that makes people so obsessed with it?

The occasional glimpse of pony assand Sandlava is right: dat ass.
Nyanpire is a better thing to watch. It is way more relevant to my interests.
Well, it all started in 4chan, where it gained popularity.
Then, it became a meme.
Then, those memes were posted all over every art site, ever.
People started to get upset.
They began lashing out, and then... The Bony Troll's were born.
Now, you'll find that many new members of the MLP fan group are trolls, who use the stigma that MLP carries to make people butthurt.
It's called 'Pony spam', on e621, ED, /b/, and a few other sites including this one and dA.
That's why I rarely ever spoke up about how I was tired of seeing Rarity take it up the 'whatsit' with a massive sparkling dildo.
Because it made them want to post it more.
It made them IN-famous.
Now, there are perfectly fine MLP fans out there, but the new generation of them are hardly classy.
