WTF weekend

“Why is it that when one man builds a wall, the next man immediately needs to know what's on the other side?”
― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones FYI this is
xtinexcore. I'll probably keep that up for a bit...

This weekend has been somewhat insane. Bless my mother for keeping Gabriel at her house. He loves staying with his grandma and it will hopefully help me catch up on sleep. There was quite a bit of family drama last night... but it's all worked out for now. The one thing I love about my fiance and their family is watching how they function, and how when one of them is in trouble, the other is right there and will do whatever it takes to help the situation. My brother is 16 years older than me... and I know he would do anything for me as well, but we definitely don't have the bond that my fiancee and his siblings do. I really admire it... and I hope that my children grow up with the same bond with each other.
On another note, I'm getting artwork up. I don't even know how I got the two pieces finished this weekend between everything that has happened and all the last minute wedding planning -- but I did. And I'm content to start seeing my gallery grow... My next task is to start doing some gift arts so I get some more practice in. Mmmmhm. Oh, and sleep... that would probably be a good thing to do as well.
FYI I never re-read my journals... so if something I type doesn't make sense, I apologize.
