So, after a lot of time thinking about how I write stories and what motivates me to finish them, I decided to start up a new interactive of my very own on Writing.com, specifically for weight gain stories.

I find the incremental writing of an interactive to be just about the right length for an hour or two or writing. Then I can stop, keep writing, or even let someone else have a shot at it. Nothing sits around gathering dust, or at least, if it does, then it does no worse than on my desktop XD.

I like the pace, it fits my writing style, and people can see what I've written as soon as I write it, unlike the various unfinished projects that litter my documents folder. It has drawbacks of course, but it is so difficult to maintain that focus needed to finish a long story =(. It's much more fun to start new stories. Good thing I'm not an author by trade XD

I hope this does not alarm anyone. I have every intention of finishing my stories (at least the ones that are well progressed). Nothing has gotten tossed away. As it stands, I still have Stranded to work on. Also, I have about half of a follow-up short story to County Fair complete (Hint: the main character is Rose!). And I haven't forgotten poor Isen who's pictures I still adore.

P.S. I am restricting posting to the interactive in a way mentioned in the description. Everyone should know by now that weight-gain fiction tends not to rank high on the sophistication totem pole. If you want to start a story there, you can also message me on FA. If anyone can think of a better way to regulate posting, I'm all ears as well.
