So tomorrow I officially begin nursing school. I'm super excited to start working through this program and finally really feel like I'm working toward a degree that's really gonna make a difference to me. The calendar for first semester is full of lots of hard work, but I know I'm going to enjoy it in the end, especially when I graduate and can start working and living independently again.

Every single week we will be learning a new skill to get checked off, so the pace is going to be very quick! By midterm of the first semester, we will be put into clinical settings, so I'll be in an actual hospital working with real people in just a few short months. ^^ The school here has just finished its new nursing building too, so we have super up-to-date facilities and sim labs that look like real ICUs. There is going to be so much hands on learning I get giddy just thinking about it!
