I just received an email from Julie over at the Nevada Humane Society. While the Community Services Manager is out of town, Julie has been helpful in providing info for a near-future event that they need more help with. As some of you may know, the Duck Race and Carnival is going to be on the 28th of this month (next Sunday), and they would LOVE some of us to volunteer.

There are many things they need help with, and we will be working with other volunteer groups to provide work during the several shifts in the different areas.
Available duties include:
Button Painting (helping kids with crafts projects)
Prizes (stock and overseeing prizes)
Face Painting (self-explanatory)
Ring Toss (oversee and organize ring toss game)
Pluck-A-Duck (oversee and organize pluck-a-duck game)
Egg Count (oversee and organize egg count game)
Photo Booth (help customers dress up for photos)
Bounce House (coordinate and supervise bounce castle)

All events have multiple shifts throughout the day: 10:45-1, 1-3, and 3-5. I've been advised that some shifts are filled, but I have no specifics. Julie has assured me that she will attempt to schedule us together if possible.

Anyone willing to help out at this event, please let me know which event and your availability. I'll then send you the appropriate form to fill out. I need all responses in before Friday this week, as Julie will be sending out the FINAL schedules next Monday.
