Plant... sona?

YES I SAID IT.
I want.. I want to make a plant character. Like, some sort of guardian or spirit maybe.. Or a hybrid. Or some sort of animal with plant features. I'd rather it be a spirit or mythical being, only because if it were an actual plantxanimal hybrid, it'd be sleeping and a lazy ass in the day and dull but energetic at night, and that'd be just crazy.
I already have the plant I want to try in mind...
But if you guys were to pick any random animal to see attached to a plant or with plant features, what would it be?
I may or may not use your ideas, depending on if it works with my plant or not. I just want to see something different. I want to have another unique beast to torture with my doodles.
Also, comment here if you have a sona and want something impossible to happen to it. :O <3

I think a cat would work nicely to be hybridized with a plant though, considering they're already lazy in the day and energetic at night. And like sunbathing.

Oh it's gonna be insane. :P I dunno what possessed me to get this idea, but it'll give me drawing practice as well as a chance to give out doodles to my watchers. ^_^
OR what if you made the ivy wrap up around it's neck and the leaves make a mask, and play with the shadows around it's eyes?
That would be really cool to see! And little vine curls running down it's back, and extending from its' paws as it walks?
It could be like a jelly hound and have vines hanging from/in/around it's bellly too!
You could look at grass-type pokemon to get more inspiration. Bulbasaur! <3 <3 <3

That idea sounds great and amazing, but I had a plant in mind already. I will think about the kitsune though, because the idea could work, and I need practice with foxes anyway. :)

You could take commissions in plant-transforming peoples characters. That would be killer!
Or maybe a bear, I always associate bears as being forest guardians and such.
