1. How long have you known you are part of the LGBT community?
Hard to say. Started "fooling around" since I was about 15 y/o. But I think I only started to accept it since about 4-5 years ago.
2. Was it a struggle (emotionally) for you at the beginning?
Yush. At first onyl considered myself "bi-curious". I've grown to accept it since, but I still struggle to/if making it public...
3. How did you start to discover your sexuality? (Example, thoughts, feelings…ex)
AFAICT, the internet is to blame :P I started browsing the interwebs to satisfy my tickling fetish, going ofr the "usual" straight, m/f stuff. I got exposed to some m/m in the way, and avoided it at first. Eventually my thoughts went from being in the giving end to "how will it feel to be on the recieving end?". So i started to look for more */m stuff. Surprisingly, I was more successful at finding m/m than f/m stuff. Eventually I realized I liked the idea of being dommed by another male more than by a female. Still find the ladies sexy, but my money's on the same team now :3
4. What part of the LGBT community do you belong to? (Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, ex)
Bisexual, though leaning moretowards same sex lately (let's say 70-30), I won't mind the gender if the right person comes along.
5. How long have you been out of the closet, or if your not, do you plan to be at some point?
For about 2-3 years to online contacts, not yet IRL. I'm not sure if I'll ever come out to my family.
6. Does your parents/parent know, or will they ever know?
No, and I don't think I'll ever tell them :S
7. Did they take it well, or do you predict that they will take it well?
I'm truly not sure, and that's what makes me freeze with uncertainity.
8. Would you…
a. Hold hands with your same gender partner in public?
- MAybe :P
b. Kiss them in public?
- Possibly
c. Introduce them as 'your girl/boyfriend' to family and friends that haven't met them?
- Not sure, I'll probably say "This is my friend", but it depends how much we have progressed, and how I feel about it atm.
9. What 3 things ANGERS THE HELL outta you about people's terrible 'opinions' about the LGBT community or certain comments, acts, ex…
- 1) the whole damned religious prejudices. And they wonder where my animosity towards religion comes from...
- 2) The whole chauvinistic, sexist nature of my country's society. It's a goddamn obsession to single out and demean same-sex acts, all to show how "manly" they are....
- 3) The assumption all gay males MUST be/behave girly/be crossdressers...
10. Do you like/love someone right now of the same gender?
Yes. But that boat already sailed and now I can only wonder "what could've been"... I fancy/have a crush on some people, but all of them are (geographically) out of my reach... *sigh*
11. If so, do they know?
I think he does now, not that it matters anymore...
12. Have you told someone about your sexuality and they took it badly?
So far not, but then again, I've been VERY careful who do I come out to...
13. Are you proud of whom you are?
I think so. I'm still struggling with some stuff inside, and loathe the feeling I have to keep myself suppressed. I might feel better with myself if I came out, but I'm too afraid of the consequences right now to do it D:
