It's a running joke where I work, the catch phrase "Got any Wii's." We get at least 40 calls a day asking for them.
Apparently the company worked out a deal with Nintendo for direct shipments, instead of shipments based off of allocations. So... I asked everyone who came in "Are you interested in reserving a Wii?" Even held Wii branded gift cards and a matching tin...
... only 3 people reserved one.
It's the "Give it to me... right now" mindset, least... that's what everyone came to the conclusion to. I mean... heaven forbid you have to wait to get one...
I don't have anything against it, it's just... odd...
"Does anyone have the new Creed CD?"
"I have it"
"Give it to me... right now."
"Give it to you?"
"You're not giving it to me! Give it to me faster!"

If a wave of people ask you over the phone if you have Battletoads in stock, you're being invaded by /b/tards.
We also have E-bay trolls.
I mad some customers laugh one day, the phone rang as I was checking them out and before picking up I said "Not we don't have any Wii's" Then I picked up, gave the whole spiel waited a couple seconds then said "No we don't have any Wii's" the guys I was checking out cracked up XD
Couldn't resist ^^;.
Not much makes sense these days.
