That was awful quick.

It was TERRIFIC quick.
The issue was pretty easily solved with that disk I got. All I had to do was repair the registry, which took next to no time at all. I was pretty happy.

I think I might have over reacted just a tad. Although, I've been having issues with the other PC in my house for awhile now and just FINALLY fixed it the same day mine crapped out. It was a lot of happy quickly quieted by a lot of "GOD DAMN IT, AGAIN?" I was really assuming the worst there. Happy I was wrong.

ok, now's the time to probably get a removeable harddrive and back up all the stuff you want, at the very least till you get yourself a new pc.

Just saying this before there's another 'I told you so' moment when your pc finally kicks the bucket.

Believe me, I am. I hit the market so fucking hard when this thing came back I'm sure it's still passed out. My number one priority is preventing any serious loss the next time this happens (which might be soon, I opened the tower when the registry got corrupted just to make sure nothing had shorted out or anything and realized it's been years since I opened the fucking thing. There were dust bunnies the size of my fist walking around congregating inside it).
