got depressed about missing arts? Whenever I poof for a while, and come back, seeing a bunch of stuff on here, I get either overwhelmed, or super inspired to do gift stuff. I'm really sorry to hear tho, that you got sadfaced at it all...and sadder then yer poofing again. I hope you start feeling better dear.

It's more like... I get depressed because I have zero confidence in myself and especially my art right now. I just can't do it. Coming on to FA and DA just remind me that all these people are amazing and I can't motivate myself to get moving because I have zero belief in my own ability, so I will never reach that level of awesome.

I do miss art, and I also can't stand myself sometimes. I just need to get out of this slump again, somehow.

I wish there was a button I could push. I'll come back as soon as I can find it. >_<

awww, you don't need a magic button to have confidence in yourself silly. :) One of the best and worst things about sites like this, IS that there are so many people on here with such varying degress of talent. And really, the worst thing you can do to yourself is compair your work, to others. You might want to try arting, without looking at the sites for a while. That way, you're making stuff that makes you happy, instead of what you think people want to see, or makes you feel is demanded of you.

*hugs* Either way dear, even if you don't feel coming back is a good thing, I hope you can at least art to make yourself happy.

I'm just so mean to myself, that's the biggest problem. >o< Not looking at sites is probably the best idea while I'm getting back on my artfeet again. *laughs* Maybe I can make something I'm proud of without mentally trashing it in comparison to others. or never even getting through it because I'm too busy staring down it's faults. :x

Art can be a hard part too, but doing it just for yourself, without the external pressures can be a bit easier.
