I'm finally skipping town on Saturday. myokitsune will be helping me drag stuff away. Yaaaaay. Meeting with my future boss on Tuesday. I'll be working with the art department on campus, though, so... *thumbs up*
Once I'm settled and stuff, I'll try to be active again. Hell, I will. I got stuff I need to finish and fffff. ;_;
Hi, my name is Ras, and I babble like a dumb shit when I'm stressed out and have nothing better to talk about.

OH GOD SO MANY PUNS ARE IN THERE
I DUNNO IF THIS WARRANTS THAT OR NOT. IT DOES NOW.
that upon closer inspection
have really suspicious somethings on them.
That's pretty important to specify, I guess.
YOU
STOP BEING A PESSIMIST
I'MMA ZOMBIE.
STOP JUDGING ME.
A WORLD THAT SMELLS OF A THOUSAND ROADKILLS.
Augh, it's just a relief to see that everything turned out okay so far, I guess. Though, I am one of these people who wigs out because of ~change~, so the new scenery and shit are likely gonna take some getting used to. Hence, the stress, hahaha.
I got to work with the art department at the college I used to attend but... it was mostly grading projects/portfolios and making a gazillion syllabus copies, hahah.
I'm sure it'll take a while to get settled, but you'll probably feel awesome once you have. Moving out and having to completely rely on yourself = gigantic confidence boost, I've found.
And yeah, I'm actually... pretty excited to FINALLY get some breathing room, as it were. I'm just really weird about change, sort of. Biggest thing right now is re-learning where everything is, though having family in the area may alleviate that. If I get lost, just call somebody and have them give me directions. XD;
It's good you know people there who can help out :D Even a bit of familiarity is always a good thing.
Man, everyone is going off to school right now. I AM KIND OF JEALOUS. I keep being like "I SHOULD SIGN UP TO A COLLEGE AND GET A HERPETOLOGY DEGREE FOR FUN" before realizing how ridiculous and far-fetched that idea is :B
Coolest I had was networking and PC repair. >:C
And, actually, a massive chunk of it is going to be paying for tuition itself. Also, books, hopefully. Though that will mean a BIGGER chunk gets taken out, if I understood the explanation correctly. Ain't that I care, though, LOL. So long as I don't have to take out a loan, I am cool.
AS FOR GRUNT WORK, I'm fine with that, haha. Even if I'm reduced to cleaning paintbrushes, somehow the fact I'm gonna get a job in the art department makes it better. |3
Also, I miss having a job SO BAD. I've felt kind of like a mopey knot on a log since losing my last one. :<
And oh man, jealous of your sister holy crap D:
Sweet deak, ANYTHING but a loan is a good thing imo. When I was thinking about art school, my friend was trying to get me to get a loan under the pretense "who cares if you'll be in debt for the rest of forever, you'll get the education you want!" Yeah, no thanks amigo.
Yeah, I kind of miss having a... "regular person job." I mean, as much as I hated my last job, having a schedule I didn't have to set myself was something I took for granted with how disorganized I am :|
OH GOD.
