First I would like to note that this has been the best summer by far. The thing that bugs me is It's not over yet lol. It feels like my trip to Florida for a Leadership Institute was forever ago, and I want to keep the inspired feeling I had to go into this fall quarter.

This year was the first year I started hanging out with the local furs. Previously my assumption was that they were all batshit crazy. My assumption was fairly accurate, but they are still an enjoyable group to be around for the most part :p

This year was also the first time I've had a job I want to keep during breaks. Communication is one of my biggest values (though I know I'm terrible at it, I'm trying to work on it) so it's comforting to know that there are people out there that can act professionally. Despite my lower number of hours and a larger amount of physical labor my job requires of me, I'm very happy for the change in pace.

This quarter is going to be really exciting for me. I'm taking a film studies course, my last basic media class, an intro to C programming class, and elementary Japanese. These classes will be a change of pace from past quarter where every assignment was a lab or essay. On top of classes I plan on running for an executive position in my fraternity, maintaining a healthy work-out schedule (including regular sessions with my dance crew) and practice guitar a bit. I'm sure video games and chatting with all you crazies will manage to fill in my schedule somewhere :p

I'm going to be visiting the Phoenix area a week before Christmas :) so if you're in that area then we should probably hang out. Also I'm currently saving up monies for FC. Luckily I've thought of an excuse to tell my folks if they inquire about the plane ticket purchase :3
