Here's what I need from you.
1. Post here confirming your interest and the species you intend on using. If we get too many of one species, those towards the end of the list might be asked to do something else.
2. I will respond with a yes or no.
3. If I give you the go ahead, you will send to me your FIRST drawing. I'd like to get one done at a time, once your first one is done, we can do more. With this email, you will need to include:
- A black and white or greyscale image at 300 DPI. Head or body. .tiff or .jpg. YOU WILL HAVE TO REDRAW THIS IMAGE 2 TO 4 TIMES, ONCE AFTER EACH CRITIQUE, SO IF YOU CAN'T MANAGE THAT, DON'T SEND ANYTHING IN.
- What you feel the problems are in the particular image. (Examples, "The head looks tilted, but I don't know how to fix that," "I can't get the eyes to come out right," "I just can't draw paws," "I'm not sure how to fix the arms so that they don't look stiff.") Go into as much or as little detail as you like.
- The name you want included with your image. It doesn't have to be your real name, or you can be anonymous.
- A link to your artwork gallery and contact information if you so choose.
Please include in the header of your email "For Art Help Book"

well, if you like, I'll start with a tigress and her boy, a ball pen scribble that deserves improvement I think.

after that I'd like to 'step back' and go for mustelidae and hooved people, because I still have trouble with their peculiar details. besides, I need to expand my species range anyway. and so others have more chances with their felids and canids. :)
if you can use the image above, I will re-scan it to your specs and mail it to you.
