I am going to be offering my coloring abilities to anyone that might want them. I have yet to set up a formal pay grade, but it will be based on the area to be colored and the complexity of the image. The more detail I have to flesh out, the longer it will take, which means it will cost a little more. This is not a full commission. This will only be for already existing lineart that I will be given to me to color, preferably already inked and ready for me. Inking will cost you, as well, but that is negotiable. The coloring will be done by hand, with prismacolor pencils. My markers have gotten old, and they are costly to replace, and my digital coloring is just not up to par yet.
However, generally speaking, pricing for image coloring will be about as follows:
~$5-10 for something about the size of an index card.
~$15-20 for something the size of a standard sheet of copy paper (8.5 x11, 9x12, 8.5x14)
~$25-40 for a double-size (11x14 or 11x17) paper
etc. etc.
I wonder if I should resort to ladder auctions.
Oh, how I sell my flesh for profit, though there is little profit to be made in this disgusting hulk made of bleeding, sweating and chemical reactions... I only hope it will do me some good...
