I'm sick and tired of people typing like retards and using the fact that this is the internet, as an excuse. I can uynderstand using it in Texts, as not all of us have full keyboards, and taking the time to fully type out a complete sentence may ruin the point of texting instead of calling, but online you have a full QWERTY keyboard, and should type properly. This is especially true for those of you who write stories and post them on places like FA and inkbunny. "U" is a letter, not a pronoun. "Your" expresses someone else's ownership of something, and "you're" is short for "you are." "There" is a place, "They're" is short for "They Are." And "Their." is again, expressing ownership of expression.
"Y" does not mean the same thing as "why?"
I don't expect grammatical perfection, I'm obviously nowhere near that, but type in a manner that wouldn't make your sixth grade English teacher throw up a little in her mouth. Just because this is the internet doesn't mean that you can type like a total asshat.
