I arrived safe and sound in California about two weeks ago but I only got internet set up and installed a few days ago. I went from my ever trusty Fuse.net DSL in Cincinnati to Comcast out here in the Bay Area. It's much, much faster but I'm having horrible connectivity with the connection dropping out for 15-30 seconds 10-12 times a day which is terribly annoying because it breaks all TCP connections and booting me off games, IRC, voice chat, and everything else. Grr. Big contrast from the DSL I had been on for the past 12 years which wasn't very fast but was rock solid in terms of stability and ping times. Gonna have to gripe to Comcast about it and figure out whats up because this is unacceptable.

Mostly I just wanted to post this journal to bump the other one about traveling off my page since I'm done with that! The weather out here is fantastic and I'm having so much fun living with friends locally instead of just on the internet. Though there's plenty of that too. <3 you all!
