She was 96 years old (though she only admitted to being 95). She died early this morning. I last saw her yesterday afternoon. There was no indication that today would be the day.

She lived a long and full life, travelled all over the world, and was one of the first of my family to come from Poland and the first of her sisters to graduate from high school. I got to know her fairly well before she passed on and she certainly was ready to go, but I still feel bummed, for obvious reasons.

Anyway, just typing this for no reason other than to feel better. Merry Christmas.
