To sum up our conversation on me being gay, it his assumption that i am making a grave mistake, my friends have led me astray, and i am just being selfish.

whatever <shrugs> He has a habit of twisting words around, and i don't know if he realizes it... if he does it again i'm calling him out on it.

oh, in other news, i love this GUY, you might know him,

jack_the_otter. I love him not because i want to suck his dick, but because he is wonderful in so many ways. Him being attractive as a devil is icing on the cake, and sex will just happen whenever it happens, if it happens. Not my driving force at all.

(Plus, i have three reasons why i can't help being gay. Religiously, God made me who i am. Genetically, my DNA code is telling me i'm gay. Personally, i just don't get attracted to women. Don't like one reason, move on to the next. X3 can't fight them rules, bro)

I'm sorry you and your dad aren't seeing eye-to-eye, but eventually the time will come when he has to accept who you are (perhaps when you get married someday, if you choose to). He's your father, and you're his kid. You're important to him, and eventually he'll see that you can't change who you are just to make him happy. c:

I just hate the "gay is a choice" mentality. Even in my first experiences with gay people, i thought that's just what they do. Didn't question further.

It took me this long, some people tell their parents while they are already in college. You'll know when the right time is. I just couldn't see myself hiding after high school was over... I've been hiding myself for too long, and i was just tired of it. :/ If you don't feel safe telling them, don't. wait til you feel you would be in control of the situation.

I have more faith in my mother coming to terms with it, because she is more passion than logic. If she gets more information on myself and not "gay" in general, like the lies my father is saying, i feel she will accept me as a person. My father, however, is extremely rigid in his ideas. He found what works for him, and that is final. <hugs> I'm strong enough to get through a year of this. That's really i need.

Congratulations on how well everything turnd out for you, i just hope my parents will be ok with me telling them im gay, my mom just has a habbit of not talking to people or not wanting any thing to do with them if she sees who they realy are and i see this more than once
