Hurricane Irene

Well, I've tried to put on a brave face, but even with everyone's reassurance I'm scared crapless from this hurricane. Other than the small aftershock that struck me this is one of the first natural disasters that I've been through. I'm watching the news now and it says that it'll be just a category one, thank God, but it's still got me worried. What I'm going to attempt to do is release periodic updates through the storm to let everyone know I'm ok, so don't be mad if you get 5 journals from me in a day. I hope to see you all come Monday when the storm's passed. And to all my fellow furs on the East coast I wish you all the best of luck and hope nothing bad happens. Yeah, that aftershock was pretty scary. Some decent news though about Irene is that some weather centers have actually downgraded the hurricane to a tropical storm with a small percent chance of hurricane winds. The short but sweet of it; better safe than sorry, but don't be overwhelmed by hysteria. Stay safe man. I'll talk to you after the storm!

Yeah, I'll talk to you then too, but that's good news indeed. When I wrote this it was supposed to be a two or three, but it's died down severely and I'm very happy about that.
