I want a heads up on members who were still waiting on approval and placement.
I sent out notes a couple days ago to the current list of espada and fracciones to see who was still active or interested. I have responses from a few of them already.
I won't be able to announce what exactly is open just yet, but as soon as I hear from them all, I will post a list of open spots for claiming!

As far as moving up ranks, I am trying to come up with an idea for that, but it will have to be a consensual thing between the contested rank member and the challenger, and won't end up with a character who is now "dead" (unless said person doesn't want to be an espada anymore).
