Yes and no.

Drat- One of my favorite and easiest recipies to make for desert is Chery Dump Cake

Dump about 3/4 of a pack of cake mix (white, chocolate, but i think the best is yellow) into a 9x9 glass pan, and pour the cherry pie filling on top. Mix a little bit (not even though, keep it pretty chunky!) and then pour the melted stick of butter over the top. Cook in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes and YUM =3

If you have butter and white sugar, oats and cinnamon and vanilla extract, you could make a crumble topping to bake on top of the prepare-according-to-box cake mix and it'd be like a coffee cake.

1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup butter
3 generous shakes of cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla

Cut the butter into the flour and sugar until it looks crumbly and mix that shit up. Put the cake batter into like a 13x9 sheet pan and sprinkle the topping over the surface. You could also mix white sugar and cinnamon together, dry, and once you pour half the cake batter in the pan, layer that dry mix over it, then top with the rest of the batter, then run a knife through the batter in a zig zaggy pattern to make like cinnamon sugar swirls in the middle of the cake.

Hmmn...I might do this..maybe. Don't know how good that's feelin' to me.

You could also just do like plain cake batter topped with cinnamon sugar. It will get crackly and delicious. Sometimes plain cake does it for me. :)

Plain cocoa can make an amazing syrup with white sugar and a little water. Heat equal amounts sugar and cocoa (like, heaping fat spoonfuls) with enough water to mix together, and heat it until it's bubbly and thickens a little. You can add cream instead of water if you have it for extra creamy. Then, drizzle on top of...PLAIN CAKE

Haha, Yeah. I honestly hate white cake, I only have the mix on hand because it can be useful for other things, other wise, I really pretty much dislike cake having dealt with it for the last 5 years unless it's something special and awesome. But thanks for the ideas!

You could just soften the butter and mix it with sugar and vanilla. It's pretty sinfully delicious 8I

Cheddar cheese and gram crackers is always tasty. Or if you have milk, ice and some sea salt and any extract you like and make shakeable ice cream using plastic baggies..yey chemistry class ice cream party!

If you have a can of peaches you can do a quick cobbler:
1/4 cup butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar or 1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
Preheat oven to 350
Drain the peaches,
While you melt the butter in a small loaf pan mix the rest of the stuff until smooth then add the peaches. Pour the flour mixture into the melted butter. Bake for 40 to 50 min.

Actually any canned fruit will do.
