I've made them as large as 6" tall by 4" wide. But I suppose traditionally (for those plastic rectangle holders you can get in office stores) they're 3" tall by 4" wide. It's really up to you though. And I've never attended a fur convention, but I have quite a few badges. I like having them just because it's a good way to get different artists work without having to worry about the posing, theme and price of a full piece.

Wow, I didn't even know that they had plastic rectangle holders, lol. My dad has a laminating machine at his house so I figure I could laminate whatever badges I do... because laminated things are friggin' awesome. I don't know why laminating things is so cool, but it is.

Yeah I think I want to start collecting badges as well because I like how they look and it would be neat to hang a bunch of them just up on a string around my computer. And like you said, it seems like a really awesome way to get a lot of different artist's work and they seem easy to display (as well as durable).
